RX is the best-selling Lexus model of all time. But with the SUV line-up expanding, we started thinking, what would it look like if Lexus stepped into new territory with a body style it’s never done before? Something built for the adventurous, for getting off the grid and into the dirt. So we made it. A conceptual Lexus truck, imagined by Seabrook Studio for the kind of journeys that don’t follow roads.
We asked what a Lexus truck could be and where it might take us. The EX Concept answers with a bold new design, still echoing the spirit of other Lexus studies while pursuing a more essential form. No oversized grilles or fussy detailing, just clean volumes, dramatic proportions and a surface that plays with light from every angle.
The iconic Lexus spindle grille does not disappear, it evolves. On the EX Concept, traditional headlights and heavy detailing are replaced with sculpted geometry and seamless surfaces. The result is a bold design language that looks forward, capturing Lexus elegance in a form built for adventure.
The EX Concept is built with adaptability and strength at its core. The spacious two-seat cabin leaves room for luggage or gear, while the platform allows for future possibilities such as rear doors or an extended cabin. At the rear, a full-width light bar cuts clean across the body, giving the truck a signature glow that feels clean and futuristic. Its wide stance, big body, and raised proportions are designed to handle every surface, from city streets to open terrain. Every detail works together to create a silhouette that is both powerful and beautiful, promising a satisfying experience through every drive.
The Lexus EX Concept began as a passion project, a chance to refine our approach to design, 3D modeling and visualization. Along the way, it grew into something larger, a statement of how we transform an idea into a fully realized vision. From first sketch to high-fidelity render, the project demonstrates our ability to craft depth, detail and production-ready design at the highest level.
